| Hydraulic lifting (telescope) keels? Grüezi! We are searching for an out-of-the-box solution for a hydraulic lifting keel where the lower part of the keel slides into the upper part, just like a telescope. We have seen this system on Hanse 630, Nautor Swan and a boat called diamant3000. The keel bomb is 1.100kg, total length of the fin is 1.2 meters. Anyone knowing other boats that have this type of keel (which we just love because the interior stays untouched with this telescope type of keel and for us a reduction from 1,2 to 0,9meters would be fine. Thanks for your help PM |

| Is that really worth all the trouble and expense for just 30 cm.? You need a hydraulic pump unit with reservoir, tubes through the keel, hoses and two expensive cylinders, stainless with scraper rings to protect the seals, flanged to the keel, pivoting at the keel bomb. An expensive gadget!

| The boats you describe above are very different in size. But if you look for a boat more or less in the size of the D3000, you could check out the new Clarc 33. She offers a lift keel with 1,85 - 1,10m and is trailerable with modern classic design - www.clarc-yachts.com |

| How important is the interior in the keel area?? Somewhat cheaper hardware and easier engineering can be used if the lifting structure is lifted btw waterline and deck with the cost of lost space below deck.. |
