It also came second in European Caravan of the Year 2010 and featured in the January 2010 edition of 'Homes & Gardens'. The 2011 version comes with sails I hear.

Obviously from a man who's never sailed one.

I went looking for the heart of any boat, a thrill up my leg in anticipation... like being dropped from a Travelift, I was let down when it became apparent with the two words "Engine Volvo". This so-called "Yacht of the Year" needs wind to go anywhere! Get a workbench in that engineroom and a tool cabinet including hydraulic line swager, polish select engine parts and install new engine hoses with no paint, loom everything nicely and make it seamanlike, then talk about "Yacht of the Year".
At least next year it comes with sails.

Maybe from a man that prefers the safety of properly designed accommodation in a seaway rather than a psuedo penthouse suite that offers no protection when falling off a wave. Regardless of its ability to point, its a marina boat.

It is a sailboat.

I have never owned a sailboat with this "heart" you refer to. The rig/sail combination would be more correctly called the "heart" of a sailboat.

I have sailed on many boats with Volvo auxiliaries and they did their job to the satisfaction of the owners.

Your lips are pursed, Paul - I recognize that tone from my first ex.. It was just a joke, like when my blowboat friends call mine a "stinkpotter". Of course the auxiliary does a fine job, as sailboats seldom actually sail. I didn't look at the interior, tho, and what a point RHP has!

I like your post. Sounds like a cool engineroom.
