dissertation

hello
i am starting work on my final year dissertation. it is going to be something about racing yachts. the different designs, how the rules effect the designs, some history into them, sail configurations, steering systems, accomodation, multihulls comapred wiht monohulls etc.

it is very much in the information gathering stages at the moment, so if anyone could helopp by sending me links to sites or books that might be of use, even if people could send me some stability and technical information for some ships or anything it would be greatly appreciated.

The question will have to be more specific before I'll know if I can be of assistance. What subject is this a dissertation in?

www.herreshoff.org and www.mysticseaport.org might be useful. For info on modern sailboat racing see www.wumtia.soton.ac.uk/index.html www.orc.org and www.seahorsemagazine.com
