Anyone know of any technical conferences on yacht design and sail analysis?
Or anyuthing more general. Also any journals sail flow would be appropriate to?

I know of HPYD and chesapeake.

Hi,

there's also the "Symposium Yachtentwurf und Yachtbau" (symposium on yacht design and yacht construction) during the "hanseboot" boat exhibition in Hamburg, Germany. Unfortunately it's been recently (November 3rd-4th) and the next one will be not until next year (end of October/beginning of November). The presentations are mostly in English.

Also there is another symposium called HISWA which is held in every two years in Netherlands.

and Modern Yacht organised by Rina. Next one is in july 2007 in Southampton.
