| catfish beach crusier or nancy's china? Plea for help from a newbee ... I've never built a boat but do have some woodworking experience - I cannot find complete dimensions on either but am interested in comparing Bolger's Catfish and the Devlin's Nancy's China. For no good reason, I'm enchanted with cat rigged boats and so lean towards the Catfish Beach Crusier but will appreciate any input on the two designs including - suitability for first time builder (with woodworking and some fiberglass experience) - trailerability - comfort putzing around lakes and bays with my 5 year old (6/7 before we hit the water) - Catfish ... original or new Where are plans for the "new" catfish available ... looks like instant boats has the original. Oh ... and I have not sailed for 20 years. Thanks! ![]() |
