    Hello!

Does anyone know whether it would be possible to buy building plans for the old Plywood sailboat "Caprice", designed by Robert Tucker and build in the 60's and 70's (later fibreglass) by C.E. Clarke ?

It's the boat Shane Acton sailed around the world. I know there are a lot old Caprice's in the UK, but I'd really like to build one by myself.

    Best wishes,

    Johannes

Yes, Robert Tucker designs are available from his estate in UK. I think you can find it by Googleing Robert Tucker designs. I built a Princess design in 1970 and it was a great boat for cruising, even tho a bit undercanvased for Cheasapeake Bay. But very safe.
