Can you identify this design ??

Can someone identify this design before I approach the owner about saving it from any futher (criminal) decay ?? !!

I'm guessing about 36ft and glass and not carvel as the hull pattern would suggest.I could be wrong.

many thanks,

Sure looks like planking to me mate, but I am only Aussie, we all know that the Kiwis are better boatbuilders!

Sure does look a lot like a BR 36 now you mention it allthou many subtle differances, BR wasnt beyond ripping other peolpes ideas.

Looked for Athol Burns designs but cant find anything close yet.

I just cant see it being carvel though, you would have to have all those ribs = weight ect ,and for the planking to be that obviours ? I just cant see it.Besides the shape I thought was to modern.

This is New Plymouth and very interesting to watch this boat in a blow and see how well it sits when all other boat mast/rigs are swaying about , this is real steady which to me says well ballanced .

Nice boat.Needs saving
