Beneteau First 435

Hi.

New to this forum I am wondering whether any forum member has any experience of sailing these old lady Beneteau First 435 series of boats and particularly for cruising.
I know Beneteau buillt the tripple spreader rigged boats to race and race well they did and still do I think; they are very heavy for their water line length and should on the face of it make good cruisers.
There are a few for sale on both sides of the Atlantic in both double and tripple spreader formats. I would give my next weeks pocket money to sail one of these back accross the pond, but would I be doing the right thing?
So does any body have any experience to share please

Chris,
