Anyone familiar with Argentinian designs??

Hello, I'm new here!! Desperatly trying to find the designer of my 36' cold molded sloop from Uraguay built in 1973 at Astilleros Rosendo, Montevideo. Was originally told she was a Frers, but now confirmed she isn't. Such other design names that have been thrown at me are Horacio Carabelli, Hoffman, Regge, and Rovere, all in which I can't seem to find any info on, so I can't know for sure. Any ideas???

Hi, I've seen it as building, 1972/73. it was built at the Rosendo's yard, built by Horacio Carabelli. He built about half dozen boats and run out of business.
As long as I remember, it is possibly based on a Frers design "retouched" by Carabelli, no Hoffman, Rovere or anything else.
Unfortunately Carabelly moved to Brazil on the 80's and nobody heared of him again (at least here) and Rosendo (the carpenter, owner of the yard) passed away some time ago.
Carabelli "rented" the yard for a couple years then, and built his last Uruguayan sailboat on 1973/74, a 2 mast ketch called "Windborn" sold to someone in Argentina.
all I remember is that any boat of that series had a carved mark on aft "ARROU" (Astilleros Rosendo Republica Oriental del Uruguay) and the finest interiors I've ever seen built.

Thank you Carlos for all your very helpful information. Its amazing you once sailed on the Kentavros. I believe she was built for a Dr. Cerutti, and that was all I had found out. German Frers had told me that it wasn't his design, and that it was possibly a Carabelli, but he was not sure. Do you know anything about Regge? There name is also on the blueprints. But she sails beautiful! I will go and look for the engraving on the aft...any ideas where? I have not come across it yet, but am excited to look again! I appreciate all the information.

Thank you I would appreciate any other info from Carlos with Kentavros 2, who actually even has the same sail number as my Kentavros, #15. I saw the race results in the website from YCU, but I couldn't find the picture of Kentavros 2 you told me about. Oh well, I'll try again...
