Any pics of DynaRig or Maltese Falcon stowing its sails inside mast?

Any pics of diagrams of it "in the act" so to speak?

Are there just big rollers inside the cross-masts?

I can't even find a pic of sails half deployed.

I thought I heard the sails were stowed inside the vertical masts, but that doesn't seem right.

this has close up, but of what I'm not sure

Yachting World: Three Winged Falcon . . . .

Quote:
The sails stow on vertical furlers inside the masts and are then hauled out to the ends of the yards. The head and foot of each sail are set in internal tracks in the yard so that each mast carries, in effect, a continuous five-panel surface.

Each sail is unfurled using a set of four winches which pull the ‘corners' of the sail to the ends of the yards. A single motor operates the vertical furler to douse the sail so each sail has a total of five motors, 75 in all in the rig.
From Doug's link . . .

THX, I get it.so the sail is sucked into the vertical mast from the sail's center?

Because I'm seeing solid panels with maybe some stitched joining in the middle.

I guess that would make sense because it would be hard to roll it up inside the curved DynaRig cross-masts(what is correct term).

ANY pics of the sails in 1/2 deployed state?

I would think THAT trick would be heavily promoted by the maker and owner.

Right up there with those "hard top convertibles" with about 7 separate panels and god knows how many little servo-motors, pulleys and tracks.

I think so too, but too bad last pic is from aft, otherwise we'd be sure....

At 2 min 28 sec in the vid . . . . the top sails are coming out . . . . as triangles . . . . bottom of the sails first . . . . . moving to the outside along the yards . . . . .

Cheers,
Angel

P.S.

The sails are coming out of the mast with ± their final side form, so the top sails must be coming out as triangles on top of the 2th to top yard, as the top yards are shorter . . . . . For the bottom sails the coming out triangles must be pointed down from the 2th to bottom yard as the bottom sails have a shorter yard at their bottom.
