| Wave Propulsion used in 5000 miles cruise http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25542656/ Featured a few months ago in this fourm, he finallly made it wothout incident. | Seems like an interesting publicity stunt at least. But as Fred says, a not-quite-sunk isocontainer is just about as fast, and a lot less complex. Somehow eating curry and rice (well, plus the occasional squid) for three months beyond sight of land doesn't really appeal to me.... especially in a boat that had a sail (that wasn't used) and a diesel engine (that also wasn't used).

| A bottle or lost sea land container goes about the same speed! Yes -- but you have to give some credit for going in your chosen direction.

| Yes -- but you have to give some credit for going in your chosen direction. There IS land at each side of the ocean. Think of the navigation costs and hassles saved! Go with the flow! FF |
