You can buy a thermal electric generator from Thermodyne. They have been selling them commercially for at least thirty years. That is when I first used them in mobile navigation stations. They were less hassle than piston engine generators in the jungle.

There is a Thermodyn compagny, owned by G.E doing steam generator linked to FRAMATOME nuclear plants...to power military submarines like the new French "Suffren class"sub Barracuda.

If it is this one, forget it, just like ENECO, it is not for us and do not ask too hard unless you are ready to eat polonium

The jungle generator of Gonzo was very likely a seebeck effect based on 100's of thermocouple in // and serial, not thermoacoustic, this brand new antic technology is under test by BMW to replace alternator by peletier modules to make electricity and cold

So for thermoacoustic...
May be in 20 years :-(
