Swap out a Jacuzzi for an OMC!!!

I just stumbled on this site tonight and what a great resource!!!
I have a semi flat jet boat (Century late 70's) with a Jacuzzi pump and 455 Olds. How hard would it be to replace it with a OMC 4.3V6 I/O unit???

I sold the engine and I'm looking for a little better economy. Could some one guide me in the right direction!!

I tore out the interior and am redoing the floor and seats along with a new paint job. lots of great color schemes and ideas here!!!

look into a volvo penta or merc sterndrive package
reglass the transom and cut a new hole if the stringer are in good shape
