Star Power 7.3 turbo?

I am going to look at a boat with a 98' Star Power 7.3 turbo diesel. Any one know this unit? Is it the gm motor or is it an isuzu block or is it a ford with international block? Lastly it also has a Stern Power outdrive. Any feedback is very appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The Starpower 300hp 7.3L turbodiesel was discontinued a few years ago, so there's not a whole lot out there on it still. SternPower's drive is a special-use, heavy duty outdrive, considerably beefier than a Bravo or DP outdrive but much less common. It would probably last virtually forever with the 300hp diesel, but not all marinas will be willing to fix it if you break it. Try messing around with Google a bit, sooner or later you'll find a search string that turns up something good.
