Propulsion Calculations

    Does anyone on this forum know any calculations or formulas as to calculating the propusion of a boat. I mean is there a formula that calculates how much water is displaced by 1 rotation of a propeller. Or how much thrust is provided by what speed the propeller is going. Any formulas or equations would be usefull. Thankyou
