tdomi2,

Welcome.

It would help alot if you would give specifications (type, length, beam, draft, displacement, ect...) for your boat, as well as the size & type of engine you have in mind. You should be able to get much help as there are many very knowledgable members.

Where are you at in Nova Scotia?

Take care.

I suggest you look up the following:

Nova Scotia Boatbuilders Association
5475 Spring Garden Road, Suite 402,
Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
B3J 3T2
1-902-423-2378

http://www.nsboats.com/

They can probably answer all your questions. If the boat is on a trailer take it there.
