| Mating a ZF/Hurth transmisson to a Jetski motor? Has anybody ever tried to mate a transmission to a jetski motor for an inboard application? There are tons of old gentleman runabout plans out there but todays engines are just too heavy. Any thoughts? ![]() |

| Not familar with your specific motor/trans combo, but, you could probably build your own "bell housing". After mounting a Flex plate with female spline to your Flywheel, mount a 1/4 - 3/8 thk alum plate to the engine (with large clearance hole for damper) Using Alum spacers mount the transmission to the plate, with transmission shaft engaging flexplate. Hope this helps ----- Jango |
