I/O engine adapter

I have a 1976 Renken 18.5' bowrider with a 122 mercruiser.
I would like to put something a little more powerful in this boat as it is severly underpowered and now has a cracked block.
Any information as to what I can put in this boat and any information on adapters for different motors would be very much appreciated.

This is a question for the boatyard mechanics to answer, as they know the mix and match to your stern drive.
