Thank you, Richard. Very informative replies.

I suppose I will go with a pair of outboards, but snug them up close to the hulls and put a "minimum wetted area per inch of submersion" type of fairing around them.

I had wanted to keep crap out from the bridgedeck tunnel, but it would appear there is no batter way to do outboards.

Well, we gave it our best on this thread.

Of course, Richard had already figured it out.

Beach Marine Nacelle

This is the style of outboard nacelle used on Beach Marine cats.
