Engine and Propeller Matching Help Please...

Hello everybody!

I need help on my school assignment, after so much looking in websites I found a couple of articles and books to have a better understanding about this, but I am more confused now than before, anyway, I read a couple of posts on these forums and it looks like everybody speaks the same language! I have not the marine engineering background, so hopefully you understand my stupidity on this subject!

I attached the problem I am trying to solve, I determined the propeller efficiency (it was really painful, I was crying!) and I am trying to get all the output powers (thrust, delivered, shaft, brake) to calculate the required values to introduce them into the engine graphs... am I doing right until here? Any guidance, advise would be highly appreciated,

Thanks for read all above,

Betty

I am sure the tutor who set you this task had already lectured you with basic informtion and pointed you in the direction to get the information to complete the task .....so he wants YOU to complete the project not US..I am sure you are taking the piss saying this is a school project ...maybe a university school of engineering .....

You see when we were in university we had no computers or internet and had to do the work ourselves .....so whilst I have approved many worthy students Phds based on there Thesis I do not do them for others .

Now you join the real world and do some work yourself ...As the english universities ( and schools) are down at the is time I wonder if you have been given this project to complete over the vacation to see if you are good enough to go into the next year ?????
