| engine problem I have a 1988 OMC 4cyl. inboard motor GM 181 liter. It was running fine Sat. and we have been running it for about 30 min at 3500 rpm when the motor just shut down. It restarted ran for a few sec. and quit again. I have checked everything possible on it, wiring, points, condenser, distributor cap, rotor button, spark plugs. It seems like its getting fuel. Could it be the coil, Im all out of ideas. We have done replaced the electronic shift assist, new carburetor kit, checked ignition switch. |
