I have a small (17 foot) cabin cruiser that I have removed the cabin from, which has made it a bit stern heavy and I would like to move the engine forward a bit, perhaps anything up to a 3 feet, so I can hide the engine under the center consul, it has a Volvo AQ125/270 motor in it, can I get a shaft made to do the job, would it need UJs, pillow block bearings, the engine would be rigidly mounted. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Scottie

They make standard jackshafts for those applications.
