| Diesel outboard? Any market? I'd image something like the Seagull but as a diesel on boats that are on the diesel fuel program. Or a larger model for more industrial use, and replacing 'gas hogs'. |

| I read somewhere that Yanmar doesn't make outboard diesels any more. This may be why "SUPERSEDED" is posted at the top of that yanmar web page.

| NO, they would have sold. The problems was they could not meet US emissions, also they where expensive $21 for 27 hp. Diesel outboards would be great but hard to make cheaply, small or pass emission. |
