| 69 imp motor??? new poster here but long time reader. great forum you all have. very informative. I recently aquired a 1969 20' IMP cabin cruiser (I do not know the model) it has a onboard 6 cylinder 155 hp motor (looks like it is a ford judging from the location of distributor etc). anyone have any information on what the motor is or what the model of the boat might be? also is there a place where one could enter cf# or hull number to get information? I know the history on the boat but do not have any manuals. thanks for reading and appreciate any info you may have |

| Hey, good luck with the IMP. I have a 69 23 footer. Bought it this year from the only previous owner and couldn't be happier. One of the things he included were the original books. I am in the process of scanning them, and will supply copies on CD's in PDF formats (Adobe reader) I will be happy to send a copy to you, send an email to me directly larrylachat@hotmail.com with your mailing address. I am only looking for the cost of the CD and postage, probably $4 or $5 dollars. I have scanned the original parts manual which includes the 80, 120, 155 and 210 HP motors, and still have to scan the shop manual - which includes all repair and bench instructions for same units. Hope to have it finished this week. Larry |
