1998 Four Winns Lack Of Power During Left Turn

This Is A 1998 Four Winn's Horizon 17 With 135 Hp 3.0 L Volvo Penta Sx Cobra Outdrive. We Are Experiencing A Strange Loss Of Power During Left Turns Is Seems To Loose Power Like Its Cavitating, Or Like Prop Stops Turning. The Rpm Doesnt Change But There Is A Definate Loss Of Speed Or Torque. But It Is Only During Left Turns It Has Good Take Off And Turning Right Everything Is Fine . Can Anyone Help Please THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY RESPONSES.

1) Please be careful with grammar to make it easier for us to read (caps, etc.).

2) You might be ventilating the prop. Does the boat list while running? Check that your trim gauge is working. Remember that with most V-hulls, you should trim the drive in (down) a bit in turns. The single-prop SX has a lot more side torque than most Volvos and so may behave this way on one side but not the other. If the trim doesn't help, and you're convinced it's something mechanical: (a mechanic would be helpful here), check the prop's rubber hub, the anti-overheating system if it has one, the steering linkage and power steering pump, perhaps the electronic engine controls if you have them. Good luck.

Have a good boat mechanic in a marina take the boat out with you. He will tell you what is your problem.
