I have an overhauld 305 non marineised motor. I would like to convert to jet drive any ideas, what parts would I need for the motor, what pump ect. Iam working on a small budget. should I sell the 305 chevy and buy a complete used motor/pump. or what.

It would be cheaper to get a marine motor. An automotive engine will perform poorly and not last long. Also, all the electrics would have to be replaced.
