| At 3300 RPM the engine is overloaded. This decreases piston speed, increases cylinder pressure and combustion temperature. The end result is lower engine life. Also, it is not developing full HP, which should give less boat speed.

| Hi, Gonzo, I think you may have misspoken here. Or at least I hope you did. If we are to take your statement literally we all need to run our engines at something other than 3300 rpm. Surely you did not intend us to get that meaning. |

| I meant 3300 WOT. The engine should turn up to the recomended range, which is around 4300.
