Prop Size New Downeast Performance Boat Build 1200HP

We are looking for a starting point for a prop on a new build of a Northern Bay 38.

Engine: MAN V-8
HP: 1200
RPM: 2300
Ratio: 1.485 to 1
Shaft: 2 ¾
Shaft Angle: 6 Degrees

Height from Bottom of Hull, to Top of Skeg 35 ¼”

We are looking for all out performance. Top Speed is what we are shooting for with this prop.

Suggestions on Diameter, Pitch, Blades, Cup, and Design would be appreciated.

With props the " Third Time Lucky" rule seems to apply.

The designer isnt as good as he claims.

The builder made it heavier,

The engine folks are very optomistic.

The engine space is warmer,

The fun list goes on,,,,
