number of blades vs vibration, efficiency, cost

Hi everyone,

I'm studying the relationship of different blade numbers that influence vibration, propeller efficiency and cost of propeller.

Could you please make a comment on the logic of this such issue. or kindly suggest me some papers or references which this topic involved in.

I'm new here, nice to see you guys

Tongichi

Look up Dave Gerr the propeller book- More blades tend to be smoother and can make up for shortfall in diameter. Less blades more efficient. A big two blade prop under right conditions most efficient.
