I found it real tough to figure out how the first one worked.
The Second one was much cleaner anyway. Nothing small left out in the Salt water to corrode.
I'm for #2 of those choices.

I like the idea of Hydraulic Controlled pitch for instant changes in a 'shifty' situation.
I'd think it's the same as Mechanical pitch control once you get it into gear and underway.
