Yup Frosty. Its kinda sad. Most of the local "Shipwrecks" are multihulls. They cant fit into the marina, so they anchor them off the harbor. Must be half dozen multis out there now.

There is a nice looking 30ft tri out of the water at the shipyard now...broke anchor, went ashore, bottom torn off.

Replying only to frosty, instead of the guy who won't get funded:

Now *that* is a market! Much better than a "me too" business model.

Im fortunate to have got a space in a Cat friendly marina and have paid up front 2 years, I have untill May 2013.

What happens then I dont know maybe Singapore but I might even sell because of it.

Thing is many marina charge at lease 1.5 some charge double yet some need to.

Mine is power and is a respectable 5,3 meters not fair to even charge me 1.5.

There is so much space waisted in the marina if I was put in a longer dock I wouild give room for another boat next to me but at the moment there is not quite enough.

The marina is adjustable but its set up with pilings sited to fit a Mono hull.

My hull sides are flat, I have very little bow, so I need a flat dock which is not available so I need to hold off as what I call a spiders web type of set up and exit from the stern.

The fingers are flared at the join so I would touch that point other wise. Only good thing is I dont use fenders.

Lost of potential to increase accommodation without wasting space for what is obviously the future preference for cruising yachts.

Suddenly the whole became greater than the sum of the parts, because the shape is stronger for any given amount of material.
The boat is lighter, it can carry more.
Then a way was found to make the boat even lighter, by an original combination of materials.
Suddenly; yet again, the whole became greater than the sum of the parts, because a method was found to combine the materials fast.
The Cat in the Sun design series offers optimum solar collection, living space, strength to weight ratio, and speed of assembly.

you came up with all that in 2 weeks.
