familiar with sludge boats, or barges used to transport livestock along inland waterways. you can possibly google the term for leads. concept as i understand it is the barge collects and treat waste water or inffluent through a fixed denitrification system of some kind, typically an activated sludge system that renders effluent or treated wastewater suitable for discharge overboard in terms of current regulations for wastewater treatment. the residual of this process is a solid, or sludge, which has salvage / resale value for use with fertilizers.
