Fiberglass Gunwale Proposal

I’m looking for some design suggestions from members for a gunwale section that would be suitable for open fiberglass boats ranging in length from 8 to 15 feet. The section should be highly adaptable to a range of boat types including canoes, rowing skiffs, small sailboats etc. The fiberglass gunwale extrusions can be manufacturedin lengths up to 16 feet.

At the moment I am looking at suggestions for a general shape and dimensions. I have posted a possible section that might be suitable at.

I would appreciate your comments on this section as well as any suggestions on dimensions or alternative profile suggestions.
