Biography: As my screen name implies I a US Coast Guardsman. My Active Duty time was from 1975 through 1981 with inactive reserve until late in 1983. An since being a Coastie is like being a Marine Once a Coastie always a Coastie. There were two of us at FLEASWATRACENPAC awaiting our A school to begin and since the other guy was there first he got the conventional spelling and I got this one! The third guy showed the next week and they tagged him Puddle Pirate! I have heard every joke the Navy and the Marines have ever made about the Coast Guard and loved them all.
