Biography: Emigrated to Australia in 1990 to escape Thatcherism. 25 years at sea - skipper of deep sea trawler/ skipper of supply boat for North Sea oil rigs. Location: NSW Australia Interests: Scaring the crap out of my teenage daughters' prospective boyfriends. Occupation: full-time novelist - and scarer of prospective sons-in-law Current Boats: building myself a 35 foot timber sloop ready for personal 'viking funeral'. Now built.
