The 2008 SNAME Maritime Technology Conference & Expo and Ship Production Symposium will be October 15-17, 2008 at the George R. Brown Convention Center, Houston, Texas. They have extended the deadline for abstract submission through 15 February.

The New Zealand Division of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA), together with the University of Auckland, is hosting the third High Performance Yacht Design Conference in Auckland from 2-4 December 2008. This conference will be a venue where naval architects, engineers, designers and researchers can present and hear papers on the current state of high performance yacht and power craft technology. Abstracts are due on 31 March 2008.
