| I think that (in aesthetic terms at least) this is Wally's most successful powerboat yet. A fabulous looking beast.....

| Topsides: ugly but rich = never kicked out of bed. But what has she where it counts? * * * Got to hand it to you for furnishing the pics, whatever the taste in styling... and I have to admit, the blue is sort of interesting, between heinous neon blue and disappearing go-fast blue... |

| He let someone (now who was that?) borough his french curves and they didn't bring them back -- Then he couldn't remember where he left his splines and weights -- But thank God he still had sharp pencil and all his triangles! moT |

| You guys need to get with the times! The fact that most of europe's boatbuilders have at least to some extent taken their recent styling cues from Wally would suggest that not everyone share's your lack of enthusiasm for modernism....

| Reminds me of the delorean auto from the 1980’s. Not a real new form of design all angles. Alot like early 1980 design when it was easy to make straight lines in CAD but more diffucult to make sweet curves. |

| I beg to differ cudashark: I think it's far more difficult to create a good looking boat that's angular in this way - Wally's own 118 and the original 70 are both proof that it's easy to get it wrong.

Even if you go for the early 80s "Star Wars" look, the portlights kill the appeal for me. And the hatches look like the hinges are aft!? Does that make sense? i suppose... Plus it looks like the motors aren't in yet (I wish). To put it another way, the boat is tall and fat. On the other hand, as a Virginian, the bow and chine line does give a chuckle. Plenty of room for pots on that rack. ![]() But I take it all back if it looks good on trials in video, it does have its own thing going on.... |

| Killer looks! Besides Wally others like Fjord and Mocchi are redefining the design language for powerboats. But there will always be those that prefer vinyl LP's over CD's, film over digital cameras, damn ludites!

| I beg to differ. I don't think he has done anything so totally new. It looks like post 80 ies modern. All angles stark shapes. Saw it on TV last night 24 mil for it. I bet it dosn't sell. Now as the show states the guy is going to put palm trees and make his next boat look like an Island. Ya got a boat to get to the island. Seems to me a fad for the design challanged mind.... Ray |
