Wake Shock
I recently bought a 1970 Formula Thunderbird Apache, 19'. It rides well but here on the Mississippi, when crossing large wakes the shock seems to be tremendous. I know this boat was used in the ocean and currently if I brought it to the ocean i would break up rather quickly. Could a weak floor have anything to do with it? This boat is a cathedral design and I was wondering if trim tabs would help. We have experimented with the best speeds when crossing the wakes but it seems to be the same no matter what speed we are going.....any help would be greatly appreciated....thanks guys and gals........
