vovlo penta 280 exhaust

I am repowering a old bayliner, out with the 305 in with a 350, It has old log style manifolds which are rusted away. This boat sat for almost 20 years. I got a set of later volvo exhaust manifold. Now here is the problem, the new manifolds have a OD of about 3.5 inches and angle down about 20 degrees. The y-pipe is almost straight up to mate with the log manifolds and 3 inch OD. I need somehow to go from 3.5 to 3 and it looks like I need a 45 degree elbow to make the two mate up. Has anyone done this, do I need a later y-pipe, Or do I get 3 inch 45s and get 3.5 to 3 inch exhaust tubing. Help please? Thank you steve

You can buy a reducer. Several manufacturers, like OSCO and BAR make them
