vdo gauges

I have a vdo vangaurd series fuel gauge that I need repaired or relaced.The original # on the gauge is 1251800117a.The replacement # was 301201.Any help would be apreciated.

So, what help do you need? Fuel gauges are about as simple as they get. Have you tried to find a gauge? Lastly, are you sure you need a gauge and not a sending unit or have a broken wire or connector?

Have checked all out and it is the gauge.Pulled it appart and found the gauge adjustment rusted.
