Tilt and Trim

I have a 2003 Suzuki 90 with 80 hrs on it. I just took it out of storage and the tilt and trim is not working. The pump motor runs but it won't lift the engine. How do you check the fluid and what is the proper level.
Any thoughts, thanks
bigbuck.

There should be a dipstick or level window on the trim pump fluid tank, which should be adjacent to the trim pump. It's rare for the fluid to leak out totally; if there's fluid in there (which there probably will be), you might have a swelled-up seal in a ram.
