image.jpg I built this catamaran from aluminum of 5,5 meters in length and 2,1 meters in width,in 1 month.Maximum speed with a Mercury motor 90hp 2 stroke and a 25 pinch propeller is 80 km/h.I would appreciate your opinion on design and speed. What flaws do you see based on video and photo?

It looks superb. However, for me it has one huge flaw - its not a sailing boat!
Have you any thoughts on aluminium vs. foam sandwich or even plywood for a small lightweight hull, say with regard to panel stiffness and dent/puncture resistance?

Tom.151 Best boat so far? Crowther Twiggy (32')

    Beautiful boat at speed.

I was totally amazed by the very flat and clean wake.

Would love to see picture or line drawings of the bottom shapes of the hulls.

    Superb,

Well done, looks and goes great. Some more details and photos would be much appreciated.

    Is it your own design?

Wow! That is very nice work. Do you have education / experience in boat design? It seems to me to be an amazing piece of work if that is your first attempt at designing and building a boat. Congratulations :D

Absolutely awesome. Would love to hear more on how it performs so well with a single motor. I had been under the impression that cats need twins :/

Again, looks and goes amazing. I recently painted my boat and car (Ford Falcon) in similar color inspired by the the new Ford Falcon F6 Typhoon from Australia

So would it go faster if you gave it twins?
