I don't think that's quite in the spirit of things

It's about a boat more of us can afford than multi million dollar passage makers

Unless we get them through trickle down economics

that particular boat is a Glen L design and only used as an example of the type of boat that is being talked about

It has the atributes I would want in that size boat

here is another one made from the same plans

That particular boat is a bit of a pig as far as scantlings, displacement, speed, engine size fuel use, etc.

If you were to equip a small power cruiser, then you should consider this in the same vain (small). A 22' LWL powerboat is going to be limited in what it can reasonably accommodate. So, I focus on what you need, like electronics, good cushions, a loud horn, a big radar reflector, a tall cedar bucket with approached seat, etc.

The top image you show is an absurd set of deck structures. It attempts to place a 40'er cabin on a 24' boat. Yea, that'll work out well. With all that windage aft they should have any trouble keeping their nose into the wind.

This is one of my 24' designs to serve the same client needs. It too has more then I feel comfortable loading into a package, but this is also typical of small craft. This one has standing headroom (6' 3") a galley, enclosed berthing for 2 adults and 2 children, standing head, a separate nav. area and lots of stowage (the real trick to a good cruiser).

If you're going to quote me, please be accurate. No one stocks custom designs, though this is one of my stock ones, which is intended to serve the same needs as the design shown above that doesn't even have a cockpit.

The required equipment always depends on the anticipated voyage....diferent things take priority when you're cruising the Florida Keys vs Great Slave Lake....

The minimum required by law is not a bad start......

Not so last winter. There were searches for both and none to be had.
