Outboard engine position on power cat

    then why do you need the trim tabs, either not enough bouyancy or you dont have enough transom angle?
    What problem are you trying to fix?

    Hi again - I don't know if I have a problem to fix yet - but with heavier engines that are moved further back than the 115's, I imagine more trimming options would be great to have - hence my desire to fit tabs. I have not had an opportunity to run the boat yet with the 175's.
    Fitting tabs now would be much more cost effective, now the whole boat has been taken apart anyway, than retrofitting them...
