Outboard cruiser The Rudder Treasury has the lines for a forward cockpit, outboard day cruiser, 25’ x 7.5’, drawn by William J Deed. I like the looks of this boat but can find little other information about it. It was in The Rudder, April, 1933. Any help would be very much welcomed. Gary ![]()

She sure would be purdy! I like that hull design, very sexy with a bright finished mahogany transome. shouldent take much to push her either, What do ya think Gary 40-50 horse Honda? 8

"Is she in your "To do list"" Maybe. ![]() I'm thinking 25hp would push her to hull speed. I don't know if they had 50hp outboards in '33. Gary ![]()

Suede, I think your right about that. If I would build one I'm sure as soon as it is done someone will ask how fast it will go. Some things are better when done slow. ![]() Gary ![]()

I just opened my mail from Mystic Seaport; the copy they sent is no more than I already have. The lines are a little clearer but no additional information. It’s not certain if this was nothing more than a study plan. Mystic has no other information on this design. It is amazing how little I can find about Deed, considering how many boats he had in The Rudder. I guess I’ll have to draw my own version.Gary ![]()
