New UK Shaft Drive Power Cat

Hi

I posted on the forum some time ago now about a new Power Cat design I had come across local to me in the UK, from BWSeaCat Ltd.

I had a sea trial on their outboard powered demonstrator boat last year, which was an eye opener for me, but I was really after an inboard powered version for my work.

A few weeks ago they launched the first of these for a client and I had a go. Impressive is a word I could use!

This design is one of the very few in the UK based on the displacement hull principle. She cuts through the water rather than planing on the top and as such on test the ride was smooth and comfortable, more like gliding.

Anyway I am now in discussions for the next build slot and I would like to thank everyone on the forum who helped me with their views on the design.

I think there are new pictures and a video link on their website if you want to see what I'm buying!

Many thanks
Bob.
