My french has much deteriorated once I started to learn croatian: it seems to occupy the same part of my brain. "davier" could also be "david" or "davit", but then it would be at the stern (I hope).

What is crystal clear is the retail price of 220 000,-, quite a lot for a small boat with a MAG350 as the standard engine. And that one does drink a lot of seawater, albeit not a fuel. Maybe this all is just a case of misinterpretation.

Perhaps a misinterpretation but, as the thing are translated and understood now, both chemistry and thermodynamics say that this boat drinks both fuel and the seawater at the same time.
A further technical clarification is necessary in order to understand the sense of this powering choice.

Nor is it mine, that's why I'd call it a bow roller. Stemhead sounds like a real sailor's word to me.

Are you referring to the story about sea water as a fuel? I don't see how it could work without other energy sources (for example fossil fuels for generation of heat or electricity necessary for water splitting into H2 and O2 - 50-60 kWh per kg of H2 is required, giving around 60% energy efficiency), or without chemical storage compounds containing hydrogen - for example Sodium Borohydride (http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/1....200800171/pdf).
So it is pretty clear that something important is missing in the advertisement.

IIRC there was a concept car with hydrogen generator made in the 70's that used water and ALUMINUM WIRE as fuel. Can't remember how, exactly, the thing worked...

Oh I see a battery charger is plugged into a inverter which is connected to the Main Battery!! The problem here is you need the Mr Fusion to tie this all together,Glitch being it is on a 50 Year Back order ,another problem is corrosion unless Mercury is using SS engines nowadays.

Yes, there is a patent on the Al wire to H2 gas for production. BMW actually used this device to test the old 2L engine and supposedly drive it down the road. Only problem was the aluminum sulfate left over in the hot water and what to do with it. It was an interesting article.
