I was attempting to modify my bell housing to fit onto my engine when I discovered the primary shaft was bent and cracked. It appears that this may not be an orriginal bell housing for this 270 drive. The end of the Bell housing that goes into the bellows seems like it may have been welded on. I need to replace this shaft but only have a partial number off it due to pitting. 8##425.
The number on the bell housing is mostly illegible but it is a Volvo penta.

Can anyone identify this bell housing or identfy and or supply the shaft.
It has 26 plines on the engine end and is 32mm in diameter.
It has 10 splines on the outdrive end and is 28mm in diameter.
    Overall lenght is 225mm.

Is there a different part number for this shaft?

Pictures of the shaft and bell housing, hope the link works:)

Does the housing have one or two bearings?
