I have a 1999 monterey 24 explorer deck boat I also considered a sea ray. I am glad I picked the montery. I do boat upholserty work and I can tell you that the monterey is far superior in this area. My boat takes the waters of the great lakes with great ease. I have boats larger than mine riding my wake on rough days. The bad news is that the parts are not as easy to get if something breaks. One of the doors on my bar broke and Monterey could not give me any direction to replace it.
