| maybe someone knows what this is????     this is the boat i am restoring!!! shes not pretty yet:

| Does it matter what it is .....It looks like someone cut the motor well off to replace the wood in the transom...what I would do is put two layers of 3/4 ply into the transome ...fibre galss matt ..ply...mat ...ply and then glass again ..screw through the transome to pull the ply up to the original nice and tight then fill and paint...you can then put the motor well back with more glass and screws ..you then have the choice to leave it as is or cut around the whole boat and make a big open style fishing boat ....transom height to suit your motor need to be considered....looks like 40 hp minimum..floor is easy use 1/2 ply ..paint underside with resin ...screw to central bearer .fill arond the edges and then glass the whole floor.....I bought one like this for $500 and sold it to the local mayor for $3000 ...so it is worth it ... |

| If I'm not mistaken, that is a racing sink. The other part is obviously a short plastic yellow shovel. The big thing they are sitting in, I don't know. It has wheels. A car? I don't know. |

| Wait---- I see now. The transom has been removed and it's sitting in the boat near the shovel. The rotted plywood has been taken out. You are in trouble now. Say goodbye to those people in the picture for a few months. Children usually forgive easily. That's a positive. |

| know i understand, you think this is going to take a while to repair......well i think your right. although my son is only 8 yrs. he does like helping his dad and the lady in the pic just last summer was in the junk yard just last fall pulling intakes with me for the lincoln mark 7. so i think this project will be done sooner than usual, and she's a keeper!! thanks guys for everything... toocan
